Giving Back in Central Texas: How Spring Lakes Ranch Serves the Community

At Spring Lakes Ranch, giving back isn't a marketing strategy — it's a way of life. As a working cattle ranch and private event venue in Central Texas, we've been blessed with something rare: land, space, and community. And with that comes a responsibility to use it well.

We believe true stewardship goes beyond caring for the land. It means investing in people, standing alongside families in need, honoring those who've sacrificed, and supporting the organizations quietly doing some of the most important work in our region.

This isn't about what we offer as a retreat destination or event venue. It's about who we are when no one's watching.

Supporting Affordable Housing in Central Texas | Habitat for Humanity ReStore

One of the most practical ways to serve a community is to help people stay in it. That's why Spring Lakes Ranch regularly donates goods, materials, and services to ReStore by Habitat for Humanity, supporting affordable housing initiatives across Central Texas.

These contributions keep usable resources in circulation and directly benefit local families working toward stable, safe homes. We believe that strong communities are built one family at a time — and that even a ranch in the country can play a meaningful role in that work.

Agricultural Education & Field Trips for Central Texas Students

There's something powerful about watching a child feed an animal, touch the soil, or realize for the first time where food actually comes from.

Spring Lakes Ranch partners with local Central Texas school districts to offer field trips, agricultural education, and hands-on learning experiences right here on the property. Students get to experience real ranch life — animal care, land stewardship, teamwork, and responsibility — in a setting most of them have never encountered before.

These aren't just fun outings. They're formative moments that shape how young people see the world, the land, and their own potential.

Honoring Veterans Through Rest, Nature, and Renewal

For many veterans, what's needed most isn't a program — it's peace.

Spring Lakes Ranch has proudly partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project to offer donated stays and shared space for those who've served our country. The wide-open Texas skies, the quiet rhythm of the land, and the unhurried pace of ranch life create an environment where veterans can breathe, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and with others.

We are deeply honored to play even a small role in supporting the men and women who have given so much.

Fighting Human Trafficking & Walking Alongside Survivors

Human trafficking is one of the most urgent and underreported crises in Texas — and we take our proximity to that reality seriously.

Spring Lakes Ranch proudly supports Unbound Now, a Central Texas organization dedicated to preventing human trafficking and providing restoration and hope to survivors. We believe healing happens best in environments built on safety, dignity, and genuine compassion — values this ranch was founded on.

Our partnership with Unbound Now reflects a conviction that a venue like ours can be more than a gathering place. It can be part of someone's story of recovery.

Donating Space & Support to Local Churches Across Central Texas

Throughout the year, Spring Lakes Ranch donates space, resources, and support to local churches across Central Texas for retreats, leadership gatherings, and times of spiritual renewal.

These faith communities come to the ranch to step away from the noise of daily life — to reconnect through worship, fellowship, and rest. They use our gathering spaces, walk our trails, sit by the lakes, and leave more grounded than when they arrived.

Supporting the spiritual health of our region is one of the things we're most grateful to do.

Open to New Nonprofit & Church Partnerships in Central Texas

If you lead a mission-driven nonprofit or a local church in Central Texas, and you believe Spring Lakes Ranch could support your work in a meaningful way — we'd love to hear from you.

We are open to learning about organizations serving genuine needs in our region. That said, we are also thoughtful and selective. Every opportunity is prayerfully considered to ensure it aligns with our values and our capacity to serve well. We'd rather do a few things with intention than many things halfway.

When reaching out, please share your organization's name, your mission, the type of support you're seeking, and any relevant timing. This helps us review each inquiry carefully and respond with the thoughtfulness it deserves.

A Place Meant to Be Shared

Spring Lakes Ranch exists because of this community. And it continues to thrive because of it.

Whether we're supporting local nonprofits, investing in the next generation through education, honoring veterans who've sacrificed everything, or serving the faith communities that hold our region together — the goal never changes: use this place well.

Giving back isn't a program. It's not a campaign or a press release. It's simply what happens when you believe that everything you've been given was never really just yours to keep.

We're grateful for every opportunity to be part of something bigger than a booking.
