Wow, what a magical place! The lands are expansive, wildlife is abundant, and the thoughtfulness that went into the entire property is truly amazing. I stayed at Spring Lakes Ranch in May with a group of 25 people for a retreat and this will be my first choice for hosting groups of 20-100+ people. All in all, this was an incredible experience that I hope I get the chance to share with another great group of people.

Not only was the property itself gorgeous with beautiful scenery and every outdoor activity you could think of, the facilities themselves were perfect down to each detail, well appointed and functional for large or small groups. The property managers were extremely attentive and quick to any request or questions. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am to the facility options, location and beauty of Spring Lakes. I can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful property!! Our group of ladies had plenty of room to spread out in the house and the grounds were so peaceful. It's close to other activities and Waco if petting baby goats and donkeys isn't your thing, but it should be!

We held our yearly management meeting with executives from Singapore, China, UAE, The Netherlands, France, UK and USA. You can truly get away and be at peace on the ranch. Zane was great and helpful with any needs that we had. We will be back in some capacity in the future.

We had ages 4-55 and our activities were all super. We throughly enjoyed exploring the property, swimming in the pool, cooking meals at the ranch house & the fishing was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed pickleball, cornhole & swimming. The animals were friendly & we captured a lot of great photos. Kristi & Zane were wonderful hosts, giving us a quick tour & always available for questions. Each bedroom in the ranch house was beautifully decorated, creating a “boutique” / high end atmosphere, further adding to our unique experience. If we could, we’d give more than 5 stars as the accommodations were perfect for our big group.

This was such a unique experience for our family. We had 4 generations gathered and we still talk about how much fun we all had from the private swimming area to feeding baby goats & having miniature horses visit us in person. The house was amazing and had room for everyone!

I could not have asked for a more perfect weekend to celebrate my Baylor Bear’s graduation! From having the space for the entire group to stay to having activities around the Ranch to be outdoors like fishing, swimming, having a bonfire, walking the trail, playing with baby goats, seeing all the farm animals, and having the perfect host in Zane taking us on a grand tour and showing us the Longhorns in the back pasture… It was priceless! Truly priceless! We had meals out on the deck and the piece de resistance was when my son and all of his friends drained the hot tub by all getting all at one for the best photo of all! Thank you so much Kristi and Zane for letting us create the more amazing family memories on your Ranch.

We came out with about 15-20 people and toddlers as well to surf BSR and be able to have family meals together but it turned out to be much more than that! Relaxing and just an amazing experience. We got a ride on the cart through the brush and met all the bulls and hand fed them during sunset. Walk around the property and just be able to relax. Some of us fished and played on the kayaks. Overall the kitchen was huge and magnolia style. All the rooms were nice. Everything worked. Most of all the owners cared about us and our experience. The lights were on when we arrived and house was open. People before us left some belongings and the owners cared about getting it back to them. The cleaner was happy to have our leftovers and was very nice. Great place for big families. Super blessed.

What a wonderful weekend we had! Our family came together to celebrate my mom’s 90th birthday and their 69th wedding anniversary. We had a group of 17 adults and 5 children and we had plenty of space to spread out. The Lakehouse is beautiful and unique and so welcoming. Every detail is thought of and just so homey. Kristi is so gifted and we felt like we were staying at a boutique hotel. Zane gave us a wonderful tour of the property and we had many animal sightings. The 2 pigs became our “best friends” and shared s’mores with us nightly!! All the guys loved fishing and caught quite a few. We just loved our family time away and it was the perfect location for our special family celebration. Thank you❤️

This was the 2nd time this summer we have rented this property to take campers on an overnight trip. The creek-fed pool is relaxing and beautiful. The animals are fun to watch and pet! Owners were super accommodating and helpful.

We hosted our office summer retreat here, and every detail was perfect. The house fit our group of 35 comfortably under one roof. We enjoyed kayaking, exploring the nature trails, and beating the heat at the spring-fed pool. Zane and Kristi were so accommodating and were just a text away if we needed anything. I cant say enough about this beautiful place. We had been displaced from our original location due to flooding, and in one day Kristi had us booked and ready to go. We had a group of 30, 14 adults and 16 kids under 9 traveling. She helped organize food, gave me suggestions for outings and entertainment. We stayed on the ranch for the entire stay. The kids fished, swam, and petted their way through the ranch. No need to worry about the common grounds or the other rental. It is far away and the ranch is large enough for more than they allow. We will 100% be back. Truly the best getaway this group has had yet. Many, many, thanks!

Every year we rent a house for our family Christmas. There is 27 to 32 of us, so finding a house big enough is often a challenge. This time there was 27 of us ranging from 2 to 59. I can honestly say this was the nicest house we have ever rented. Zane took great care of us and they think of everything. You’d be surprised how many places are missing pots and pans, knives, mixing bowls, etc., this kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There was a huge fire pit and plenty of wood ready for s’mores. We grilled steaks on a huge grill (propane included). A huge bonus is that each room has it own thermostat, so I could stay warm and my brother could stay cold. There is plenty of pastures/woods to stomp in and animals to feed. The kids have already asked to go back. Thank you for wonderful memories.

We rented the house for a work retreat/training and everyone was blown away. The rooms are all spread out with individual locks on each room for privacy. So much to do that everyone didn’t want to leave. From feeding baby goats, petting the miniature horses to taking the small boat out for fishing everyone had a great time. Zane the owner was very helpful and accommodating.

We hosted a large corporate retreat with 95 of us. We played beach volleyball, kayaked, enjoyed the hot tub, and went for hayrides and hikes on the property. We had fun driving the golf cart that we brought, and just walking around, absorbing the stunning natural beauty around us. Zane and Kristi were extremely welcoming and responsive to every request we had, right from day one until we left. Their pride in their property is evident in the way they put their heart into every single detail to make sure their guests have an excellent experience. Highly recommend!!

Our visit was about celebrating the holidays with Family! The house was very comfortable and clean and meet all our needs. We spend hours around the fire pit and even roasted hot dogs one night. The weather turned cold but that did not stop the fun. We played cards and games inside on the big dining table! Kitchen was well stocked. The grounds were beautiful and were well kept and we really enjoyed all the animals on the property. Zane the owner was very helpful and shared the history of the property with us which I found interesting! This is one property we will come to again!

We had a really nice time at the Ranch House with plenty of sleeping options. The animals were a fun feature, with baby goats, miniature horses, longhorns, donkeys, and more. The week we spent at Spring Lakes Ranch was perfect for our family. The huge house had everything we might need to be super comfortable and prepare good meals. With two washers and dryers the large group’s laundry was taken care of. Zane and Kristi couldn’t have been better hosts. They always went above and beyond to accommodate all of our group and we had many requests. Highlights of our stay were bottle feeding the baby goats, feeding the donkeys, ponies, goats and chickens, fishing, and swimming in the spring fed natural pool. But everyday was full of many adventures and this property is just amazing. Wish I could share some of the super photos that we took.

This place was amazing! The kids had so much fun swimming, kayaking, fishing and exploring! We had 35 people there and it still had room for way more. The property manager was awesome and great people to talk with. One of the best features is privacy. You are not right on top of other people and you can really enjoy spending family time with everyone. The house was perfect and very comfortable.

This place really does have it all! The newly remodeled inn was perfect for our entire family. It had more bedrooms than I could count, and everyone had their own private bathrooms. This place was secluded on 200 acres & was perfect for every age group in our family. We had some who went fishing, others went exploring and swam in the natural spring- fed pool, while others played with and fed the sweet farm animals. None of us were bored to say the least. We will definitely be returning for another getaway. I can honestly say this is the most beautiful & magical place I’ve ever seen. Pictures just don’t do it justice!
